We were given the wrong room, and due to the hotel struggling with a new computer system, and lack of manager on site, we had to wait 2 hours to get the room that we paid for. You were expected to pay 15 dollars extra for parking at this hotel. When manager finally arrived he got us into our room and did wave parking fees, but I feel that this could have been done much earlier. As an older person with some health issues, it was quite stressful for me to have to wait 2 hours before getting my room. We were told that we could wait in other room given, but couldn't sit on beds or leave bathrooms looking used. There were 3 of us and I believe one chair in room. For price we payed, I expected a much better experience. To add insult to injury, there was a large, blonde wad of hair on the wall of the shower in room that we were finally given. Oh, and if you want to drink bottled water in room, they are 5 dollars each! Btw, while we waited in the lobby for our room, there were at least 4 other people that were having issues with their rooms as well.

The rooms were clean and comfy. We had our grandchildren along (3, 5, and 14) and they loved feeding the fish off the bridge by the restaurant. The pool was great for the teen. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful when booking.com messed up our reservations.

Shout out to staff: Clare front desk, Rere bartender, Hannah bartender and room service, and Natalie waitress. All were excellent at their jobs. Free breakfast was very good. Bar and restaurant were outstanding.

I was clean, nice and somewhat secluded being found off of a neighborhood but just off the freeway. We primarily came because of the dog friendly and trying to get away from the fireworks since Santa Cruz County has a not fireworks ordinance.

Room was walking distance to Safeway, Rite Aid, Shops, Ace Hardware, Gas, Freeway ,, beach was 1.2 miles. Off ramp was State Park DR.. We loved the pool area,, clean towels.. Jaccuzi, BAR, Restaurant. HOTEL was amazing.. Quiet. Clean Affordable. AMAZING .
